AdvancedWriters.com has a website that contains all of the standard information one would expect to find on a writing company’s website. It is rather amateurish in design, and the links take a long time to open.
The minimum amount charged for any paper at AdvancedWriters.com is $13.00 per page. This is for a High School level of difficulty and two weeks deadline. Higher levels of difficulty, such as University level result in charges as high as $30.00 per page with a rush delivery of 24 hours turn around time. Certain discounts apply for first time users of the site, but they are not very substantial.
This company provides three different ways in which to reach customer service: Web interface chat, email and telephone. All of these methods are lacking in clear cut, concise ways to communicate. In other words, all of them were problematical. The chat interface was slow and the agents were not always available. Email sometimes takes more than 48 hours. If a customer has an urgent question then he or she must wait for an answer through email, and there are times when their email answers do not even approach the correct topic. The third method of communicating with customer service, telephone, is probably the most effective. However, the agents are prone to putting customers on hold for long periods of time and do not know what they should know about helping customers. Some of them did not even know basic pricing information.
We were shocked to learn that this company actually allows a certain degree of plagiarism in their papers. This can be a very serious offense with any academic organization. The quality of the writing overall was not bad, but there were certain mistakes, some of which could have caused a substantial lowering of one’s grades. For example, the citations were not formatted the way they were supposed to be. There were some spelling errors and the writer duplicated two of the paragraphs, word for word. We were allowed revisions, but even then, the paper was not 100% satisfactory.
Order processing peculiarities
- Pricing system not clearly explained
- Free revisions, but very limited, and no guarantee of effectiveness
- Writers were not all native English Speakers
- Some plagiarism allowed
AdvancedWriters.com has an amateurish looking website that is easy enough to get around on. However, the pricing structure needs to be explained more clearly, and the quality of the writing needs to be vastly improved. It is bad that they allow some plagiarism.
